Meet EyeRene - Creator of BrownGirlsHeal

Eyerene is a dedicated wellness practitioner, meditation facilitator, poet, published author, intuitive guide, meditation facilitator, sound healing practitioner, wellness event curator, reiki practitioner, and curator of A Brown Girls Link Up, a yearly event dedicated to the healing of Black and Brown women through community, Eyerene’s work has been featured in bold journey magazine as well as beats & balance podcast. Eyerene’s focus leans towards self reflection, guiding you back home to self through a series of modalities including self reflection, mirror work, shadow work, and the coming together of sisterhood. Devoted to supporting healing and soulful transformation, with a centered heart, through sacred spaces, experiences and offerings where individuals can reconnect with themselves, return home to self, and stay in alignment with the joy they desire to cultivate.  Through sound healing, guided meditation, reiki and work shops designed to bring you closer to self, my hope is for women to continue to align with the love they desire to receive by the love they pour within.

A message to my community

I created BrownGirlsHeal as a way to cultivate a community build on authentic love, hearts that desire to heal, be seen, heard, and know that they are not alone. One of the most beautiful things that this journey has taught me, is how important community is. How much love can be birthed, when we surround ourselves with people who not only look like us, but who can resonate and be a reflection of not only our pain but our passion as well.

I’ve been on this journey for over 15 years, and I can tell you, the healing doesn’t stop.

I know how hard it is to feel safe in spaces, especially if those spaces aren’t a reflection to what you see when you look in the mirror. I know how it feels to be afraid to ask for help, because translating what I needed was even foreign to me.

I remember at a very young age, I told myself, I would never allow anyone to go through anything alone.

I create BGH to act and love as a chosen family for those who’s only love comes from water and not blood
